What’s the difference between the online program and the apprenticeship?
The online program includes access to my full training instruction manual, videos, and quizzes you can complete at your own pace. The apprenticeship is an in-person, guided experience where you’ll work under my supervision in a real studio setting and take clients while building your skills.

How long does each program take?
The beginner nano training is structured over 5 in-person sessions, held once a week, with a supervised model session after 2–4 weeks. The 1:1 version for out-of-town students runs over 5 consecutive days. Apprenticeships are flexible and ongoing, depending on your availability and goals.

Where are apprenticeship locations, and do I need to travel?
Apprenticeships are hosted at my studio, Ethereal Studio in San Diego, CA. You’ll need to travel to San Diego for in-person sessions.

What’s included with lifetime access?
You’ll receive lifetime access to the online training portal, which includes the digital manual, video modules, homework, and quizzes—plus any future updates to the course content. If you've taken an in-person class with me, you can always reach out with questions or send me photos for critiques.

What equipment/products do I need?
Your student kit includes everything you need to get started: a PMU machine, power supply, pigments, mapping tools, needle cartridges, numbing agent, aftercare, and more. I’ve curated every item for quality and ease of use.

Will I get updates if the industry changes?
Yes! I update the online portal regularly as techniques and best practices evolve. Once you're enrolled, you’ll receive any new content added in the future

Do I get a certificate? Is it valid everywhere?
Yes—upon successful completion of the course and model day, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion from Tori Celina Beauty. PMU is not yet federally regulated, so licensing requirements vary by state. I recommend checking with your local health department or body art board.

Do I need a license to start working?
Most states require a Body Art Practitioner License and Bloodborne Pathogens Certification to legally tattoo. Some counties may have additional regulations. I can help guide you through the licensing process depending on where you're located.

Are payment plans available?
Yes! I offer financing through Cherry, or you can break your payment into two parts—a non-refundable booking fee and the remaining balance due before class.

What’s your refund policy?
Booking fees are non-refundable and secure your spot in the course. Full refunds are not offered, but if you need to reschedule due to an emergency, we can discuss transferring your spot to a future class.

How far in advance do I need to book?
Classes are limited to 4 students and tend to fill up quickly, so I recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance to secure your spot and allow time to study the manual.

Can I schedule around my current job?
Absolutely. The class is once a week, typically on a Sunday, and the online training can be done on your own time. Apprenticeships are also flexible to accommodate your schedule.

How do I get help if I’m stuck?
You can reach out to me directly through the student portal or email. I offer personal feedback, and you'll have the option to join my apprenticeship program for continued support.

Can I repeat lessons?
Yes—since you have lifetime access to the online portal, you can revisit any lessons, videos, or guides at any time.
