Lip Blush in San Diego
Your Lips, Just More Defined
Lip Blush is a form of permanent makeup designed to enhance your natural lip color, improve the appearance of shape and definition, and create a soft, more balanced look.
My approach to Lip Blush is all about enhancing the lips you already have — not creating a heavy or permanent lipstick look. Every treatment is customized to your natural lip tone, skin tone, and personal preferences to create a color that complements you.
Whether your lips have lost some of their natural color over time, appear uneven in tone, or you simply want a little more definition, Lip Blush can create a subtle enhancement that makes your lips look naturally refreshed.
Your lips will appear brighter and more saturated immediately after your appointment, but this is not the final color. As they heal, the color will soften significantly — typically around 30–40% — leaving behind a much more natural result.
We’ll choose your color together at your appointment, and shades can be customized and mixed based on the result you're looking for. The goal is never to give every client the same shade — it’s to find a color that looks beautiful with your natural coloring.
WHAT IS LIP BLUSH?
Lip blush is a form of permanent make up that is used to enhance your natural lip color, shape and definition to create the illusion of a fuller lip. This is NOT a lipstick look.
IS THERE ANY PAIN?
We use a 5% topical lidocaine before and throughout the procedure to keep you comfortable, most clients experience little to no pain but pain tolerance will vary.
WILL THIS EFFECT THE COLOR OF MY LIPSTICK?
The lip blush procedure will have no effect on your lipstick colors.
ARE THERE COLOR OPTIONS TO PICK FROM?
We offer a wide variety of colors and color combinations to give you your own perfect shade. We have a look book of all our most popular colors to help you get a better idea of what our colors look like on the lips immediately after and healed.
WHAT DO I DO BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
Prior to your appointment you will want to start hydrating drink lots of water and use lip balm. For clients with dry flakey lips please exfoliate daily starting a few days prior to your appointment, we recommend making a lip scrub with coconut oil and sugar. Clients must come in the day of your appointment with smooth hydrated lips to achieve the best results. If you haver ever had a cold sore it is mandatory that you take an antiviral before and after your appointment. If you have never had a cold sore there is still a possibility an outbreak can still occur. For this reason we recommend clients get prescribed an anti viral or take an over the counter L-lysine.
