WHAT IS BROW LAMINATION?

Brow Lamination is the hottest new trend in eyebrows, this service creates the look of full, fluffy brows in one simple appointment by realigning the directional hair growth & enhancing the brow shape. The results are GORGEOUS and visible right away, providing instant gratification. The lamination effect lasts up to 8 weeks! Great to enhance your permanent make up or for those who just want some extra fluff with out the commitment to permanent make up.

DOES BROW LAMINATION CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HAIR?

LACQUER has been custom formulated to be gentle on the hair and skin. When performed correctly by a trained professional, brow lamination does not cause any long term damage to the brow hair. Brow lamination works by restructuring the brow hair’s disulfide bonds - essentially using the same science and basic principles of a perm. ⁣It’s important to remember that as with any beauty service, there are possible risks and this is why it's so important to have brow lamination performed by a trained and Certified professional. ⁣⁣

WHO IS NOT A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR BROW LAMINATION?

  • Psoriasis/ Eczema

  • Recent eye surgery

  • Alopecia

  • Recent permanent make up

  • Sunburn

  • Ultra-Sensitive skin

  • On any blood thinners

  • Pink eye

  • Scar tissue in the treatment area

  • Pregnant/Breastfeeding

  • Brow growth serums

  • If you have had brow henna within the last 10 weeks

CAN I GET THIS IF I CAN PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?

We do not recommend doing brow lamination if you are pregnant or breastfeeding due to elevated sensitivity caused by hormones produced during pregnancy and after/during breastfeeding. Elevated sensitivity can trigger reactions and also inconsistent results. It is ideal to wait at least 3 months after breastfeeding.

WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE?

  • Do not wet your brows for 24-48 hours

  • Avoid touching the brow area at the risk of transferring oils

  • Do not apply make up to the brow area for 24 hours post treatment

  • Do not apply retin-A, aha or exfoliate the brow area for 72 hour before or after the treatment.

  • No self-tanner products should be used on the face for at least 48 hours post treatment.

  • Apply lacquer balm daily (we suggest before bed)

  • Comb hairs into place daily
